Projects

At Silverthorn Associates, as well as the work we undertake directly for clients, we also have a number of ongoing project:

  • National Local Authority WARP

WARPs (Warning, Advice and Reporting Points) are a CPNI concept that aim to create communities of practice where security professionals can exchange knowledge and expertise as well as learn from incidents that each have experienced. Silverthorn Associates run the NLAWARP (National Local Authority WARP) with the aim to encourage the growth and development of regional WARPs for Local Authorities.

We currently work with 5 regional WARPs, to whom we provide updates and briefings on the latest developments on natoinal work programmes, initiatives and strategy.

More information can be found on the NLAWARP Website.

  • G3C Catalogue

This is a non-exhaustive catalogue of products and services that can help Local Authorities gain compliance with the Code of Connection. Solutions are categoried against the different areas of the CoCo and all of the products listed will also work in a PSN environment.

If you have a product that you would like to list on the catalogue, please do contact us.

  • The catalogue can be found at www.g3ccatalogue.net

  • G3C Toolkit

The G3C Toolkit aims to be a one-stop-shop of free guidance and information for Information Security. The website is primarily aimed at Local Authorities seeking compliance with the Code of Connection, but the guidance is also equally valid ( and some times more so) in a PSN environment. This website is mantained as a common good initiative.
